Sobald ein Luftzug entsteht &#8211; z.B. durch Hinterl\u00fcftung oder durch Fugen &#8211; verschlechtert sich die D\u00e4mmwirkung drastisch.<\/p>\n<p>Zellulosefaser garantiert als einziger D\u00e4mmstoff optimale Winddichte.<br \/>\n1. Durch das Einblasen mit Druck verlegt die Faser alle Ritzen und Fugen der Geb\u00e4udekonstruktion und l\u00e4\u00dft so dem Wind keine Chance.<br \/>\n2. Das Material ist so elastisch, dass es kleine Bewegungen von Holzkonstruktionen jederzeit ausgleicht und keine Hohlr\u00e4ume entstehen l\u00e4\u00dft.<\/p>\n<p>Bei einem Praxistest im Winter 1989\/1990 durch die Universit\u00e4t von Colorado wurden 2 identische Holzriegelbauten errichtet. Geb\u00e4ude A wurde mit Zellulosefaser und Geb\u00e4ude B mit Mineralwolle ged\u00e4mmt (u-Wert der W\u00e4nde 0,26, u-Wert der Decken 0,17). Die Geb\u00e4ude wurden gleich \u00fcber einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum beheizt. Ergebnis: Das mit Zellulose ged\u00e4mmte Geb\u00e4ude hatte einen um 26,4 % niedrigeren Energieverbrauch als das Vergleichsgeb\u00e4ude.
