2026 Biosfloor® is a completely natural chip, produced simply with the chipping and successive expansion at 1000 °C of volcanic rock: there are no additives. The insulator can also be provided in a non-hygroscopic version – Biosfloor H – to be utilized in rooms that may have residues of humidity or patches of condensate. Biosfloor is equipped with security certifications apart from the certificates from the physical-chemical tests
2026 -The table indicates the remarkable acoustic quietboard reduction of the Biosfloor insulator. In the case of buildings with particular acoustic prerequisites, 1 or 2 transversal layers of A8 Plus non-hygroscopic wood fibre panels or a layer of non-flammable TS rockwool panels can be inserted between the chips and the RP paperboard. Even in the event of large irregularities in the thickness of the chips we recommend installing the A8 Plus panels (see section).
