Biosplan ® is a completely natural levelling grain, produced simply by means of the chipping and drying of Minerals: there are no additives. The natural expansion of the mineral forms air pockets inside the chops which make Biosplan ® a high-quality thermal-acoustic insulator, as well as being non-perishable and non-flammable. It can even be used in bathrooms. The dry screed made with Biosplan and its panels helps to achieve the maximum level of floor soundproofing: above 32 dB in certain cases. The thermal insulation can be precisely calculated by the designer. Biosplan’s dimensional stability is further guaranteed by large and thick layer. Dry building offers significant advantages over traditional methods: the insulation, the speed and ease of installation but, above all, the total elimination of the drying time for the wet screeds which are the cause of so many building delays and serious damage to wooden floors. Being installed dry and being light, it is not invasive in the restoration of old attics or flooring. The chip can also, if necessary, be provided with a specific superior weight, “Biosplan B”, to increase the mass to improve the acoustic air-insulation.
With all flooring
On the Biosplan® dry screed layer, after the necessary coverings, for example with panels A8 Plus and GF, all types of flooring may be installed: glued, screwed down or laid floating.
Dry levelling
With Biosplan® any wood or cement slam can be levelled, without bringing further dampness to the house, shortening the building time by many months.
Acoustic insulation
The dry screed created with Biosplan® reaches such levels of sound control, air and impact sound insulation, that it is often the most common design choice for hotels, schools, between houses, offices etc. and all of the areas where this feature is requested.
Custom made thermal insulation
As there are no limits to thicknesses in the use of Biosplan®, one can obtain the thermal insulation as planned by the designer or accoding to the technical norms.
Secure protection from fire
Biosplan® is non-flammable and non-combustible. Installed in combination with TS – GF panels (also non-flammable) it does not represent an increase to the potential outbreak of fire.
Building naturally
Biosplan® satisfies the requirements of the strictest institutions which deal with LEED® Greenbuilding. It is equipped with a Security Certificate apart from all of the certificates regarding the physical-chemical tests.
