RADIANT AND COMPENSATING CLAY PANELS AND RADIANT MODULES (2026)
Our panels are of radiant and compensating clay, they are reinforced with mesh, they can be assembled in a very simple way exactly like plasterboard, that is screwing them on a wooden or metal structure, after having inserted, if necessary, a wood fibre insulating panel (or mineral wool if you want total fire resistance not only of the clay panel but also of the insulating one), or if the surface is smooth, they can also be assembled in adherence without structure.
In addition to all the qualities of clay that gypsum plasterboards do not have, installation is also much quicker and therefore less costly. They can be laid against each other without having to leave a gap between each panel as is the case with plasterboard. The thickness of our smoothed clay panel is 25 mm, so it is the same as installing a double layer of plasterboard or gypsum fibre of 12.5 mm, but with only one instead of two layers.
Even more important is that the clay panel is the only panel that can be installed in a false wall, eliminating the vapour barrier, as clay is the best humidity regulator that exists.
– density 1300 kg/m³
– thermal conductivity λ 0,47 W/mK
– thermal mass capacity approx. 1.0 kJ/kgK
– fire resistance non-flammable according to DIN 4102 T1-3
Clay panels are also excellent for the construction of partition walls, as they achieve very high levels of sound insulation.
It has been tested and certified that the construction of a drywall structure with a single layer of our 25 mm clay panels on each side and with a layer of wood fibre insulation (or mineral wool) inside for a total thickness of 10 cm guarantees R’,w = 61dB; the same construction but with a thickness of 15 cm (and therefore with a 100 mm structure) guarantees R’,w = 63dB.
ALSO AVAILABLE IN ELECTRIC VERSION OR IN RADIANT MODULES TO BE PLASTERED WITH OUR CLAY PLASTERS.
